We are looking to recruit an ambitious individual who wishes to start a career in financial services.
We are a small firm of financial advisers based in Abercynon, South Wales, specialising in investment and pension advice. We are a directly regulated by the UK financial services regulator, The Financial Conduct Authority, and take pride in managing all technical aspects our business internally.
The role will involve working on a small team at our Abercynon office providing technical and administrative support. Our training and development program is second to none and undertaking either an apprenticeship or professional qualifications will be a key requirement.
We are very much a firm who values creativity, drive, and imagination. Excel geeks and VBA wizards are especially welcome as is anyone who can code; likewise, an ability to design attractive documents, construct detailed technical statements or compose elegant reports. Chances are you will be involved in interesting and ‘off the wall’ projects, everything from design, analysis and marketing to being part of our '2022 Ladies Synchronised Bog Snorkelling Team’. Most important to us is attitude. We are a close knit team who value each other as people as much for our skills and abilities. The ability to cooperate and compromise with others will be key.
The role is intended to be progressive. Anyone joining Leabold, no matter what level, is expected to strive towards becoming a senior manager within the business, and we’ve plenty of success in this regard. We are a forward looking business and seek actively to promote those who achieve. The role is full time, 35 hours per week. Starting salary will depend on experience and qualifications. Additional benefits include 20 days annual leave, employer pension contributions, and 3x salary death in service cover.
